Five Beach Bay
Five Beach Bay gets it's name from obvious reasons, having Five Beaches within the bay.
Three of the beaches are Marine Park Zones and there is no residential or commercial development whatsoever on these beaches. The only way to reach these beaches are by boat and most of the tour operators will stop here.
The swimming is excellent and the beaches are untouched and good to explore. You can hire a boat from Horseshoe Bay to reach these beautiful beaches and have them all to yourself.

Florence Bay

Return to Map

Florence Bay epitomises the beauty of Magnetic Island with the most spectacular coral reef just metres offshore, beautiful clear water, pristine beach and scenic boulders studded with Hoop Pines.
Being a Marine Park Zone there are certain activities which are forbidden, please read all signs when entering a Marine Park Zone.
Snorkelling and diving is a must as the marine life is well preserved and the coral is spectacular. Swimming is also excellent and the bay is protected in most winds.
At the right time of the year, when the Northerly winds blow, Florence Bay transforms from a quiet, calm bay to a surfing beach. Locals and mainlanders use this bay as their favourite surf spot to experience these conditions while they last. This diversity makes Florence Bay a very special bay for all kinds.
